Guides
Which iPhone alarm app is actually right for you?
We make Mornio, so we have an obvious interest here. That is exactly why these guides are built the way they are: every competitor claim is taken from that app’s own App Store listing, dated, and linked, and each guide says plainly where another app is the better choice. Mornio needs iOS 26.1, which rules it out for a lot of people, and we say so on every page rather than burying it.
All facts below were checked on 21 July 2026.

How we compare apps
- Facts come from the source. Prices, minimum iOS versions, mission types and privacy labels are read from each app’s live App Store listing, with the date we checked stated on every page.
- We do not claim a feature is missing just because a listing does not mention it. “Not stated” means not stated.
- We name where competitors beat us. Alarmy has far more mission types, a decade of refinement and supports iOS 16. Erly has streaks Mornio does not. Nuj offers a financial consequence we deliberately do not. Sleep Cycle is a far better sleep tracker.
- We rank on the problem, not the brand. If your iPhone cannot run iOS 26.1, Mornio is not an option and we recommend something else.
- No fake reviews, no invented ratings, no fabricated test results. Where something is our opinion, we label it as our opinion.
