When the alarm rings, walk to the QR code or barcode you saved away from bed. Scan that same code to stop it.
With the stay-awake check enabled, Mornio checks again a few minutes later. Press and hold to confirm you’re awake.
The follow-up restarts the alarm if you don’t respond. A separate backup alarm adds another layer.

Scan the code during setup, then choose your alarm time. No account, special hardware, or purchase needed to try.
Allow alarm and camera access, check your settings, and use Mornio’s 30-second test before relying on it overnight.
A way out when you need it. Add a backup scan item. If neither is reachable, use emergency dismissal.
Your routine stays yours. Alarms and saved scan codes stay on your iPhone. No account and no ads. Privacy details.
Try the whole wake-up
Try the scan, the follow-up, and the backup in your own routine—not just a sound preview.
Your first three completed wake-ups are free. Continuing afterward requires Mornio Pro. Using those wake-ups does not start a subscription.

Mornio requires iOS 26.1 or later and is designed for iPhone. Check your version in Settings → General → About. There is no Android version.
Silencing the system alarm without scanning your saved code brings the alarm back. Scan your registered item to complete that step. The optional stay-awake check follows up afterward. Emergency dismissal remains available when you genuinely cannot scan.
You can register a backup item in another accessible place. If neither code is available, use the emergency press-and-hold dismissal. It is recorded in your alarm history. Pick a code you can reach safely and keep it where you expect to find it.
With alarm permission enabled, Mornio’s primary alarm uses Apple’s system alarm and can sound in Silent mode and Focus. It uses the default system alarm tone. Keep your phone powered on, check your settings, and run the built-in real-alarm test. No alarm app can guarantee that you will wake up.
Mornio is mainly for people who wake enough to dismiss an alarm and then fall back asleep. Its scan and follow-up check address what happens after that first wake-up. It cannot guarantee you will hear the sound, and it does not force the iPhone’s volume higher.
No. The three included wake-ups are not an automatically renewing subscription trial. You choose whether to purchase Mornio Pro in the app. After those wake-ups, Pro is required to continue. If you subscribe, Apple handles payment and renewal; you can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.
